There is really no evidence that Rudy Giuliani is any stronger on national defense and national security issues than anyother Republican in the poll driven field of possible candidates for 2008. All the names on the current list of unannounced GOP candidates are committed to finishing what we started in Iraq, committed to staying the course in the WOT, committed to our alliance with Israel, and at home, fostering a strong homeland security effort. The GOP should be nominating the most conservative candidate, not the most liberal candidate.

"The GOP should be nominating the most conservative candidate, not the most liberal candidate."

That is certainly true, if the highest priority is pleasing the most conservative voters.

But if winning the most votes becomes the highest priority, perhaps the candidate capable of that will NOT be the most conservative.

Oh yeah..............let's nominate some unknown yahoo, with no name recognition, no money, no big time backing, who will say something that you will LOVE to hear, who who is a guaranteed LOSER, even against Hillary or Obama or even algore. That's the ticket! /s
