Doesn't amount to anything compared to Bill Clinton and we all know how the Democrats circled the wagons for him. Leaky Leahy actually got CIA people killed and he's still in the senate. Remember Gary Studd's? Ran a homosexual prostitution ring out of his house apartment and got a mild censure resolution passed against him . . . then proceeded to get important leadership posts and routine re-election until he retired. The one Democrat judge they actually impeached now has a safe house seat in a moron district in Florida. Then there was the diving champ from Massachusetts.

When your a Democrat, scandal does not mean squat. It is only because the voters of Nevada are smarter than the average liberal district that Dirty Harry MIGHT face serious opposition the next time he is up for re-election in 2010 and if that happens and the ethic charges ever get traction, you can bet he will pull a Torricelli.

Forgive me for being extremely jaded, but after seeing so many Democrats skate on charges so much more serious than Reid's, I just can't put any hope at all in thinking justice (bought and paid for by their trial lawyer's lobby) will ever be done under our current court system.

Only if you forgive me for the same. The stuff I've been trying to out Reid for are the type of things you get seriously hurt for in Nevada, but I get all these yokels on these threads claiming I make it all up.

Someday I hope they are in the same position. When you wake up in the middle of a situation where someone is trying to trick you into a murder deal, that's when you suddenly know you aren't in Kansas anymore.
