If they choose to cave to pressure and appease the enemy, they risk losing their most loyal support at home.

Screw the folks back home, if they cave to pressure and convict innocent men then they lose the support of the men and women in the ranks. And they know it, too. I have no doubt that they went that extra mile and make sure that the charges were justified for that very reason.

Hope you're right. The evidence will be presented in court, but will enough evidence be made public to convince the men and women in the ranks as well as the public? Inquiring minds want to know...
