I really, really hate this.

The article says it all goes to "motive"...and I have said all along that I can't imagine that they did not believe that there were terrorists mixed in with the residents.

Plus, the pictures so soon after the "event" has always bothered me.

I would really like to be in the courtroom and listen to ALL of the evidence.

I know that I don't want any of them to "flip"...UNLESS, they are guilty.

Exactly, sleuth. Now it's their turn to present their side of a combat action.

From the beginning, Time magazine, Jack Murtha, unnamed (supposed) DOD sources and the majority of the enemedia have declared them guilty, they were not even afforded the completion of the investigations. Their presumption of innocence was ignored.

It's despicable, especially the actions of Congressman Jack Murtha!

Regarding the pictures of the aftermath of the conflict, the scene is littered with expended brass from military weapons. I recall that an individual knowledgeable about military weapons (sorry, can't cite the name, he was from Florida) suggest that they were from an AK 47, a Russian weapon and the weapon of choice of 'insurgents.' I showed the picture to my husband, retired military and a top marksman and pretty informed about weapons himself, and he agreed.
