Hazelnut pound cake? That must be the one I make with hickory nuts. This is one of those off years for hickory nuts so I won't be making one this year.
Oops! I did say hazelnut, didn't I? I've never had hickory nuts, and I'm thinking about hazelnut-flavored coffee, I guess. I actually use pecans - I roasted them and then ground them up very fine and put in the batter this time. It's yummy!
That sounds good, I've used pecans before but have never roasted them first. Will have to try that.
