As much as we'd all love to see Jack Murtha booted out of Congress in disgrace, the odds of a Democrat Congress removing one of their own senior members are next to nothing. The best we can do is expose Murtha for what he is, a cowardly, prejudiced (against OUR troops), enemy-supporting traitor, from a party of traitors.

I wouldnt place too much faith in the ethics committee. They are the same ones who just looked the other way for Harry Reid.

The best bet is the Justice Department and that is slim indeed.

As for Pelosi she could use an ethics committee peek herself,but that wont be forthcoming either.

No: the Corruption on the Hill by the democrats is a part of the landscape and nothing will change.

Just today we have learned that the House Ethics Committee is actively investigating Murtha’s wheeling and dealing with Paul Magliocchetti Associates, or PMA, his favored lobbyists.

Ya, sure, like that's going to go anywhere after the new Congress is sworn in...

Presently thinking of Murtha not being booted by fellow Dems.

I think from what I have witnessed from the Republican side of the isle in the past four years, the Dems would come closer to booting Murtha than the Republicans.

I've been seeing signs that Murtha is feeling heat. He has ratcheted up his rhetoric against the war. He's now saying we've lost militarily. The Leftwing blogosphere is cheering their hero. But more than that, bloggers are warning that Murtha will soon be under attack by the forces of Karl Rove because Murtha is so brave! At places like Huffington Post (where Murtha himself blogs), bloggers have been saying "it's time to rally around Jack".

In short, Murtha will do everything he can to portray any investigation as a Rovian plot. And his accomplices in the blogosphere and MSM are getting their talking points.
