Hi, posted jut before you abot the Rabbi.
AS I mentioned, his sect wants nothing to do with Israel because the Messiah has not come yet.
They are so over the top.

I am so glad I found someone that saw H & C.

Now...tell me if I am overreacting here...but, that segment with the Virginia preacher and the signs in Arabic....didn't it give you a feeling of fear??

It did me..because he puts these signs up all over town, written in Arabic...and one had to get all the way up close to read the English translation. Supposedly, the signs only said silly things like "I'm a little teapot"..or "rocks, paper, scissors"...

The idea being that if a person feels FEAR from seeing sign in Arabic, but then see that what is actually written is "non-threatening"...we will become "accustomed to" Arabic signs...and he extended it to being accustomed to Imams praying in airplanes and such.

What made my hair stand up on my neck was that this is a way to get us to let out guard down...to get us "used to" Arabic..so when the signs DO say something that are something "bad"...we will be so "used" to them..that we will ignore the signs that we shouldn't.

When Rich Lowry tried to ask him if we Americans aren't just a LITTLE bit justified in feeling cautious about Muslims..the guy was quite haughty, saying that "radicals" in all religions had done bad things..

He was totally dismissive about the idea that we have any right at all to be concerned about Muslims..no matter what...and if we are, we are racists.

Update from Gaza: Quiet returns after 2,000 bullets in 10 Minutes
05:01 Dec 22, '06 / 1 Tevet 5767

(IsraelNN.com) Gaza City streets were relatively quiet in the pre-dawn hours in Gaza City following a ferocious gun battle that again broke the ceasefire in the Hamas-Fatah militia war. One person was killed and another kidnapped in a gun battle shortly after midnight Friday, in which 2,000 bullets were fired in 10 minutes, according to a witness quoted by The Associated Press.

The recently strengthened Presidential Guard of Palestinian Authority (PA) chairman Mahmoud Abbas took up positions behind sandbags and cement blocks outside the Gaza home of Abbas, who was not in Gaza. The Fatah militia kidnapped the bodyguard of Hamas foreign minister Mahmoud al-Zahar.

That guy is just typical of many in the U.S. they either have an agenda or are just stupid.
I talk to that type almost daily.
There are also those in denial because they don't want to think of loosing their 5 bdrom homes, 3 cars and all their tec toys.

No, didn't see H & C tonite... BYU is playing in a bowl game so Mr KK is glued to the tv... while the mall is calling our names... we're winning so bad there's no reason to watch it, but he won't leave til it's over.

Forget what I watched earlier today that had me yelling at the tv... FOX just ticked me off and added to an already bad day. Glad it's almost over. Wish I could forego shopping and just go to bed, but with only 3 shopping nites til Christmas, I don't have a choice. Thank goodness everybody is open late and Wal-Mart is open 24 hours!

I wonder what our Mothers did, back in the olden days, when stores closed by 9:00 or 10:00???

I feel for you having to shop at night...it will be a zoo.

I got news out after that stupid Hannity and Colmes show..so I am watching pro football...Green Bay vs. Minnesota.

Two teams that are not going to be in the playoffs this year....REAL exciting..LOL

I hope I am not being too nosy but I was wondering if your son moved with you to Boise.

I know at one point he said he was...and I never heard whether he changed his mind or not.

If he did come with you...how does he like it??

"I wonder what our Mothers did, back in the olden days, when stores closed by 9:00 or 10:00???"

I was worried about the closing times here... I know in CA the malls stayed open til 11 or 12, but wasn't sure about the Utah malls... but they are actually in this decade and also close at 11! LOL Thank goodness.

"I feel for you having to shop at night...it will be a zoo."

Hasn't been bad lately... but the closer it gets to Saturday nite the worse it will be, no doubt. Oh, well. We didn't have a choice. I'll just buy a big box of dark chocolate covered cherries and eat a half dozen or so and be just fine! LOL

I just heard on CBS radio news that Jim Nicholson, the Sec. of Veteran's Affairs made a big boo-boo today.

In an interview, he was quoted as saying that a military draft would be a good thing for America...

Well...the White House found out about that..and he promptly came out with a statement saying he stands behind the Bush Administrations policy..and respects the all volunteer military...

OOOPSY!!

Yummy...I love dark chocolate covered cherries...

I have night blindness and can't drive in the dark...so I have to get my shopping done during the day...and yet I am babysitting the wee ones all this week....SOO..I had no choice but to finish last Saturday and Sunday.

I am enjoying not having to worry about it...but both of my children are out shopping tonight and keep calling me wanting "ideas"....lol

I don't see real well in the dark, either... but I see better than hubby, so I get to drive.

Just checked the weather alerts... snow is supposed to start at 4 am and continue all day and night tomorrow... 2 - 6 inches expected... so I WON'T be shopping tomorrow nite! We'll just have to get done tonite, if possible. We can get the food stuff we need for Sunday and Monday on Saturday afternoon... by then the roads will be clear and *hopefully* the snow will have stopped.

He decided to stay with his brother...and he actually calls us once or twice a week! May still move in with us, but the call of his buddies and being a wild young bachelor guy is pretty strong.

LOL...I can imagine.

I have a feeling if we had moved when my son was old enough to be on his own...but before he got married, he would have stayed here also..

I hope and pray it works out for him..and he is okay. You may end up knowing more about his life now that you live away from him...LOL

Sounds like Peretz is getting ticked off at Olmert...

(IsraelNN.com) Arab terrorists fired another Kassam rocket on Sderot several minutes ago. No injuries or damage was reported. More than 45 rockets have been launched against Israel since the Gaza ceasefire was announced three weeks ago. Injuries have been limited to shock and hearing problems, and damage has been minimal. One rocket Thursday slammed into a community center, which was empty of people at the time.

Defense Minister Amir Peretz (Labor) said Thursday that the government is "gambling" with the lives of western Negev residents, including his home town of Sderot. However, Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said he will continue to honor Israel's side of the ceasefire, not wanting to cause a crisis that would scuttle a planned a meeting with Palestinian Authority (PA) chairman Mahmoud Abbas. No date has been set for the mini-summit, but PA sources that it may happen as early as Monday, probably in Jordan, where Abbas is scheduled to visit on Sunday. Prime Minister Olmert traveled Jordan earlier this week for a two-hour unannounced visit.

Want to start a pool for when Olmert gives in to everybody, even Livni telling him to retaliate?
