President Bush will hold a press conference this morning at 10 a.m. Eastern time. He will be making a statement on Iraq.
Have a great Chistmas. Tell Beck hello. S&D will be heading to Phoenix on the 28th. Enjoy Adam..... give them hugs from W.T..
BTW .. do note how Rosie and & Joy aren't saying what they really want to say to her
I cold not take it.. I had to flip the channel. Joy loves Hillary and so does Rosie. They may be thinking they are going to get a position in her cabinet. Poor Elizabeth, how does she go on that show daily?
I have a problem that she purposely found a man to impregnate herself so she could raise a child without a father. I would have less of a problem if the father is someone she knows, and if he will be involved in raising the child, but I still would have a problem with a deliberate decision to conceive and raise a child without a loving, two-parent biological family.
Yes, if a woman gets pregnant, I want her to have the child and raise it as a loving mother -- but that's a different question than whether she SHOULD have gotten pregnant.
While it is easy to agree that a child is better with a biological mother than with no family at all, that determination starts with the existance of the child.
The question of whether a woman should deliberately conceive a child is another issue entirely. I don't happen to believe that the best thing in the world would be if every woman on the planet spent their entire reproductive lives pregnant popping out children every 9 months.
Meaning that I don't think HAVING new children is itself the noblest goal of life. Since I don't believe that, I can say that Mary Chaney was selfish in forcing a child to be brought into the world without a loving biological family unit.
It is the same correct argument made by Dan Quayle about single mothers.
I have no doubt Mary Chaney will be a loving mother, at least if the baby is a girl (one has to wonder about lesbians who hate men being capable of properly raising boys to be men). I don't know if Mary is a man-hating lesbian.
Geeze ....she is so self centered. She will hardly let anyone else talk.
I shook David Gregory's hand a couple of months ago....
He'll never know why I did it.
she's now pushing daycare & healthcare
She dodged the question .. would you vote for Obama if you didn't run
IMO The War in Iraq has nothing to do with how we fought World War 11. We were fighting Germany and Japan and wiping out the Nazi Regime killing it's leader Hitler.
Nazi's ran for the hills when they knew they lost. Japan knew they were to surrender has they had no chance after we bombed them in Nagasaki.
Fighting in Iraq or the Middle East will be never ending because as a people they are not from a civilized mind set
Radical Islam is in many countries and the way they think about the USA, ALLAH DEATH makes them want to fight indefinetly.
Israel has been trying to work with the ARAB/MUSLIM world for eons and still they have no PEACE.
Fighting in the Middle East is nothing like past wars again IMO because so many Muslims are hell bent on destroying the western world and thousands are not afraid to die for the cause.
They are even training the next generation of potential Jihadists to become suicide bombers.
I believe only moderate Muslims if they rise up with enough cajone's will be able to bring some sort of Peace to Iraq and hopefully to the Middle East.
Blessings..
Nope .. it's more about controlling the conversation to avoid getting into topics she doesn't want to discuss
She does that alot
Yea ... that about sums it up
They were all on their best behavior
When his tone is solid he is awesome.

And when his tone is awesome, it is never repeated by demmedia for the folks who may not have been available for the live event.
Issues she tried to execute while FIRST LADY (note: never elected by the people. Bill was):
Clinton health care plan
Children's Health Insurance Program
Adoption and Safe Families Act
Increased funding to the National Institutes of Health
Millennium Project
I totally agree. Despite the image of chaos in Iraq, everybody answers to somebody over there. Sectarian leaders could stop most of the violence in a short time. The prime minister leans too far toward the Shiites and alienates the Sunnis. I'm not saying they need a new dictator but they need someone who will pressure both factions with the threat of armed force or being excluded from the government. And as you say, we need to go after Iran and Syria. We could start by aiding the dissidents in both those countries.

Will do ! Hugs to you, too!
Having to fence with the press is a pointless exercise.

But you know, if he issued a press release, the pack-mentality-press headlines would all say that he was afraid to take questions.
When Saddam gassed his people, he was our guy against the Iranians. Didn't seem to bother us then, in fact, according to Senate investigations, we seem to have sold Saddam the means.
Using your anology, we would have been content to arm Hitler and tolorate his murder of millions of jews as long as he did our fighting for us.
When they were on their way (by all accounts at the time) to having nuclear weapons and refused, FOR YEARS, to allow the UN in to verify their compliance?
The US government knew who Saddam was when his scientists were invited to a conference on Nuclear weapons detonation.
The detonation conference. In 1989, the Pentagon and the Department of Energy invited three Iraqis to attend a "detonation conference" in Portland, Oregon in August. Financed by American taxpayers, the meeting brought together experts from around the world to explain to the Iraqis how to produce shock waves in any desired configuration. There were even lectures on "H.M.X.," the high explosive of choice for nuclear detonation, and on flyer plates, used to help produce the precise shock waves needed to ignite A-bombs. The UN found both H.M.X. and flyer plates at Iraq's main nuclear weapon development site. The three Iraqis who attended the conference came from the laboratory that provided parts for Iraq's first high explosive nuclear detonator. Testimony of Gary Milhollin, Before the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs October 27, 1992
But putting all that aside, weapons inspectors were allowed back into Iraq and were doing their job when we invaded.
We have sowed the wind and are reaping the whirlwind.
