Pres. Bush has given MANY angry, fired up speeches..
Obviously you haven't heard them....wonder why????
He is sick and tired of having to explain the same thing over and over to a MEDIA and audience that don't care what he says...they just want to accuse him of lies...and complain about everything he does.

The REAL question is not whether or not he slept, but instead with whom?

Stop what? Criticizing you for your shallow opinion?
I've read every word you've said. And I don't agree with any of them.
Listen to what he's saying. I'm not the one who needs to 'grow up.'

There would be a holy hell outcry if anyone ever asked THEM such personal questions Note how they don't ask such personal questions to Hellary and Bill

Oh please, no modern day Pres was going to make the ME glass after 9/11, and kill hundreds of thousands of Muslims who worship Allah, and declare a Holy war.
But it may still happen, if their moderates cannot find a way to defeat the Islamic Cults, with our help, and create a civilized ME. This is just the beginning.
Which is why our next Pres had better be a ruthless SOB.
To: Txsleuth
I understand all that - I am talking about the first 15 minutes of this Press Conference. He sounded weak.
Relax -
To: Peach
"Did the media ever ask Clinton if he slept at night after the Waco mascare?"
I don't think so. He also shifted the responsbility for Waco to Janet Reno.

I'm watching this. He sounds tired to me - it probably would have been simpler if he merely issued a press release. Having to fence with the press is a pointless exercise.

Ok Ok - hey - I love the man.
I just know more about the value of tone.
To: Jake The Goose
"Why do you think Hillary's voice is always mocked."
I saw her on the news the other day, criticizing Bush, and realized (again) just how unpleasant and sanctimonious and dishonest she is. I am still not sure she is electable. I think a lot of middle-of-the-roaders, especially men, will be completely turned off by her. She has that "I'm smarter than you" mentality that the voters usually reject in presidential candidates (Mondale/Dukakis/Gore/Kerry).
To: MadIvan
Yes I agree.
How can he not be tired... Tony Snow will see this and will ensure that the President is up for it next time.
To: Jake The Goose
I'm thinking about your standards for President.
Maybe the Republican party needs to make sure the next candidate for President is a baritone so he can keep his 'tone' right.
