President Bush will hold a press conference this morning at 10 a.m. Eastern time. He will be making a statement on Iraq.
Nice Try .. LOL!
You know - the funny thing is that my Grandma said the same things about Reagan that people here say about Bush. Just sayin'.
Good troll bait thread!
Who was that reporter who just asked President Bush if he wouldn't listen to commanders on the ground?
These people are disgraceful.
This is who the left HATE with passion.
I'm really surprised he didn't roll his eyes when he said he was "listening to the people on the Baker-Hamilton group".
Take that Whineington Post. LOL.
It's ok -- I did it for him! LOL
Sounds to me that you should be running this country....
You have such a superior knowlege of what SHOULD be said and done!
Iraqis must stand up to defend their country.
He has lost the Senate, lost the house. I think he knows that 65% are against this war. What more can he say....... bomb the hell out of that country?
Everybody seems hung up on this "must have a defined mission" before increasing troop strength. How about this one: Short term, 1. Level Baghdad. 2. Level Tehran. Long term, Reduce the global population of Muslims by 75% over the next 5 years.
Question about the poll numbers
I suspect he wakes up to a nightmare every morning in his security briefing.
Thank goodness he's such a strong and stable man.
This is your one post since 2004? Pretty worthless post, don't you think?
This president does not govern by polls you idiot. Stupid reporters.
"a failure in Iraq will condemn a future will condemn a generation of young Americans to permanent threat from overseas...therefore we WILL succeed in Iraq."
Worth reading (or listening to): FDR Pearl Harbor address
Here's something else:
I would to see the [Iraqis] do more. I would to see them carry this burden I would like to see them doing the fighting and not just Americans. Because I don't think there is any alternative to that. We are not going to win unless the [Iraqis] do more, and make more of an effort. It shouldn't be just the United States and Americans doing it. First we were making the effort there so that people had their own right to decide their own future and select their own form of government. And it wasn't going to be imposed on them by [the terrorists]. We had the support of the people of [Iraq]. I think thats why we were involved in that struggle... Now we turned. When we found that the [Iraqis] haven't given the support and are not making the effort. That was RFK. I swapped Iraq for South Vietnam.
