S&W's quality decline didn't happen all at once 50 years ago, it's been a gradual process of cutting corners to make cheaper guns.



Fair enough. But there is little reason to think that S&W is buying TC to cut its costs and quality. TC presumably makes good money, and there is no reason to tamper with it.

I hope you're right. Compare an S&W revolver made in the 50's to one made today. The workmanship has really taken a plunge.
