The Baby Is Ugly, Put It Back!

Posted on 12/19/2006 3:28:31 PM PST by Hillary'sMoralVoid

Those who voted for the war voted for all the horrors and uncertainty that war brings. The baby was born and it has become ugly, but it cannot be put back in the womb. It is the most despicable and cowardly thing any politician can do badmouth a war that he or she voted for, especially after not offering any alternative strategies. The President and the military WON the war in Vietnam, the cowards in congress lost it. Will history repeat????

Our enemies know that we have a long record of getting tired, losing interest, and backing out. The Kurds got screwed over twice because we abandoned them, so it's remarkable that they are putting their trust in us once again.

It is an observable fact that when your enemies fear you, they will be more reluctant to start a fight with you. When the left gives our enemies the impression that we are weak, they only encourage more violence. After all, our idiot peaceniks, leftist politicians, and leftist media are determined to tell our enemies that violence will work if they only keep it up long enough and kill enough innocent people.

especially after not offering any alternative strategies.

Actually, their initial response was to roll up into a fetal position and ask "Why do they hate us?"

The Dims have been doing everything they can to undermine the war effort, it's what they know & do best.

They have promoted the bad that naturally a war embodies and diminished any of the good. They have driven a policy of defeat, making everything about Iraq that is a negative appear to be a larger problem than reality.

They are hoping for a self-fulfilling prophecy of defeat and have been nurturing that scenario with hopes it will be the outcome.

Yes, it will happen again.

The MSM and D-rats will see to that, aided by RINOs and other weak kneed "Conservatives".

Then they will just rewrite history to make themselves look good and "right" on all issues.

As did the Shi'as in the south. GHW Bush bears the responsibility for not finishing off Saddam when he had the chance. Now the "realists" from his administration are telling us how to gracefully lose.

The lying libs now have to make good on their promises and now it's obvious that when in the driver's seat, they really don't have a clue, much less the plan they promised America to solve the problem.

Now that it's their asphalt infant to wrestle with, it's not as easy as they portrayed.

And THANK GOD the ISG imploded, with Hamilton and Baker as the infallible Popes demanding that all 79 recommendations be implemented because they can't be wrong.

Bush has an opportunity thanks to the liberals big mouths and incompetence.

"War is wrong, let's go to Darfur". The battle cry of the left.

The Left didn't give a Rat's ass about the war or the Christian Democrat candidates they ran.

They wanted to get in power to push for the socialist state (nationalized health care, raise the minimum wage, open borders, and perhaps investigations as a lily pad to leap to the next election season).

Until we get liberals like Kennedy, Kerry, Murtha and their ilk out of Congress we will continue to fail.

That, and to my way of thinking our government agencies have leaked like a sieve since Korea - I'm more familiar historically with later wars - it's no coincidence that a lot of GI's wondered about the NVA in Vietnam having an uncanny ability to know our unit positions and things of that nature. State department has had some real issues for many years as well, etc. Probably why the lefties get apoplectic anytime anyone mentions Sen. McCarthy or Alger Hiss, Harry Dexter White et. al.

Is this a vanity or is there a source? It's getting hard to tell anymore.
