federal courts putting their collective noses in where they don't belong is boneheaded.

Bingo! I'm surprised that more people on this forum don't see that as the real danger here.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

What is the fundamental problem?

There are two sets of citizens and the government school can NOT be neutral between the two of them. There is NO action that the government can take on this issue without the government establishing the religious worldview of one, and trashing that of the other.

And,,,this sticker in a textbook is only one of HUNDREDS of curriculum and policy decisions that government schools must make that establish the religious, cultural, and political worldview of some while destroying that of others.

Time and resources are finite, and there are competing ideas that exclude each and can not be compromised, therefore, ....the education of children was never, is not now, and never can be religiously, politically, or culturally neutral.

Since government schools can NOT be religiously neutral, they are utterly unconstitutional on both a state and federal level: http://www.newswithviews.com/Stuter/stuter9.htm

Solution: Begin the process of privatizing universal K-12 education. End the religious, cultural, and political wars that rage in the government schools.
