I understand Morris is Jewish. I see similarity to a Jew of another time and place, Elijah. He openly confronted the regime of wicked Queen Jezebel and her Bill Clinton-like husband, Ahab.
This went on until he believed she was going to have him killed. What did he do? He, like Morris is threatening to do, ran for his life.
Bible students have wondered why the great, and seemingly fearless, prophet Elijah ran from this woman Jezebel. Knowing the Hildabeast and her husband, I think we have a good idea. History repeats itself.
Even great, fearless men have lapses of faith. Moses ran from Egypt, David ran from Saul, Abraham ran from famine, ALL the disciples ran the night Christ was taken.
