Public servants no longer interested in serving the people and seduced by consolidation of power seek personal gain through the threat of force and deceive the weak minded/irresponsible with the empty theat of security they can't deliver.

HAHA. Ya right, most public servants take those jobs for the great pensions and benefits.... not to bully people around. Ask most cops/firemen why they took that job and they will tell you, "When I am 45 years old I will be collecting a fat pension and working towards a second career".
