NEW YORK The women of 'The View' did it again.
Specifically Joy Behar, who during a discussion Monday about Time magazine's 'Person of the Year' selection, likened former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld to ... Adolf Hitler.
"You have to put, like, a Hitler type [on the cover]," Behar said in response to a question about whether Time's selection of "You" was appropriate.
"Like, you put Donald Rumsfeld there, or something," she said.

Should have read:
You would think a Jew would have a little more respect for the 6 million Jews that were killed by Hitler.
But she is a liberal, they only seem to have repect for men who nut on dresses of fat chicks.
Uhh Joy...I bet these guys would beg to differ.
I think it's interesting that when anyone today wants to identify an individual that personifies evil, it's almost always Hitler, notwithstanding the fact that Stalin and Mao each killed enough innocent people to make Hitler look like a rank amateur. I guess that's what happens when you lose a war. It's truly frightening that history gets so distorted when viewed through the prism of politics.
You misspelled "twit"
The View's rants are good for two things -
1. It demonstrates this amazing country we live in, where we have such freedom of speech, as opposed to the places she thinks we should stay out of.
2. It makes them look like fringe kooks.
Rant away, Joy! Keep demonstrating your vast knowledge of geopolitics and history!
Because there is an audience & a rating & a media that has the sheeple programmed to a 4rd grade level.
The Nazis were more the party of the middle class. They urged harmony between the working class and the bourgeosie. They used some socialist elements so as to appease the working class and dissuade them from becoming Communists.
The profit motive was very much a force in the economy--but control was given to the government. Industrialists were part of the Nazi power structure. They did not encourage abortion--they encouraged fecundity, even giving stipends to women who had babies (more babies = more soldiers).
Religion was discouraged via taxation but not to a degree like that found in the Soviet Union.
Yes, her show was absolutely awful. There is nothing "funny" about either her or Rosie Fat Tush.
It has been done since the beginning of time...stupid people climbing "high" because they are willing to go "low".
Hitler indirectly killed more people through the war. Stalin killed by design; Mao was more of an incompetent leader.
Hitler's plans for a post-war Greater Germanic Reich was far more frightening than the world of Stalin and Mao. An uneducated, underfed slave race who were taught little to nothing of history to keep them disunified, with no medicine so that they could work to build the Empire and serve the Master Race until they faded into extinction.
Words of wisdom from the HEN HOUSE! Move on nothing new here.
I believe Joyless Joy is Italian.
Hitler gets bad press because communism is good (in the minds of liberals), and Hitler hated commnunists, therefore Hitler is bad. Plus the Nazis killed all those people.
Hitler was a socialist, though.
I think Lenin said that "socialism is communism in slow motion."
It's true that in the Big Bad Book of Mass Murder, Hitler doesn't rank as high as you might think.
Whenever the subject comes up, I always like to educate listeners about the Soviets under Stalin and the Chinese under Mao. 6 million dead? That was a good week under Stalin.
yep, that would be her!
Wasn';t Hitler once on a Time cover? In any case, he deserved to me Man of the Year in Janaury, 1941. At that time Germany was triumphant in Europe.
they did the same thing to Sean Hannity when he was on. Rosie wouldn't let him get a word in!
The Nazi's were socialists and called themselves socialists.
The profit motive was very much a force in the economy--but control was given to the government. Industrialists were part of the Nazi power structure.
Look up what socialism means. It is when the government controls the means of production. And that is exactly what the Nazis did.
They did not encourage abortion--they encouraged fecundity, even giving stipends to women who had babies (more babies = more soldiers).
Only to Germanic and Aryan peoples. For all other races, for the mentally handicapped and other "undesirables" - abortion was encouraged and, in many cases, implemented by force.
Religion was discouraged via taxation but not to a degree like that found in the Soviet Union.
Well, I guess that would explain the over 10,000 Priests sent to concentration camps.
What should one expect in watching TV?
He was Man of the Year in 1938, for being the Force most dangerous to a democratic world.
