A 91-year-old man from East Sussex has become the oldest person in Britain to go paragliding, according to his son. Reg Rose-Innes, from Beddingham, flew above Devil's Dyke in Sussex for a 20-minute flight at 800ft (243m). He said after the tandem flight: "It was marvellous being up in the air. It was a gorgeous view and lovely day."

I shall beat his record. When I turn 92. More than half a century from now. But I'll do it, wait you and see.

That's nothing--I knew a guy back in Kansas, legally blind, who tried paragliding.
But it scared his dog.

It will be for me. I'll be there with Viagra, toupee, and false teeth in hand.

My mother is turning 70 at the end of this month. In the past 10 years, she has taken a flying lesson in a single engine plane, gone on a helicopter ride, gone parasailing, and gone white water rafting.
For her birthday this year, Ive bought her 5 laps at the Irwindale Speedway in a stockcar going around 150-170 mph. Shes been wanting to do that for years.
I think my father may be getting her the tandem hang gliding or a hot air balloon ride.
Basically, shes willing to try anything except bungee cord jumping (doesnt want to hurt her back).
I wish I could be as brave and adventurous as my Mom.

Good for her and God Bless the both. Wanting to live life to the fullest extends it to the fullest.
