This guy gets worse with each passing day. What an embarrassment.
In reading this article it is not clear at all in which camp Buchanan places Ahmadinejad.
I think he's hoping for an invitation to next year's conference.
Who, Buchanan or Ahmadinejad ?
This puts some American Jews in a dilemma.
I used to like him, but he has turned into a real dingbat over the years.
Time should rename the title to "Newsmaker of the Year". That way, they would be less likely to go wobbly.
So was Hitler and we didn't kill him fast enough either.
Do you remember the Bugs Bunny cartoon "rabbit season" where he kept tricking Elmer Fudd into shooting Daffy Duck. Rabbit Season-FIRE!! Duck Season- FIRE!! RABBIT FIRE!!, no matter what Daffy did, even if he wore the rabbit costume he got shot.
Every time I see something about Ahmadinejad, I'm like FIRE!!
I'm developing nukes-FIRE!!
I'll share nukes-FIRE!!
I'll wipe Isreal off the planet-FIRE!!
There was no holocaust-FIRE!!
Every time I see the name Ahmadinejad.
Ahmadinejad-FIRE!!
We need to take this guy out.
I wouldn't be surprised if Pat thinks Ahmadinejad should be Man of the Year. After all, Pat is probably the one writing Ahmadinejad's speeches.
PS: Pat Buchanan won many idiot of the year awards in the past and he will continue to do so in the future.
I usually don't agree with Patrick but he's right here. This friggin maniac Ahmadinejad is hell bent on getting nukes and starting world war 3...I think he qualifies.
Personally, I hope some brave Israeli beats the crap out of Pat "Nazi" Buchanan.
If the criteria are who is the most significant man in the news, for good or bad, then Admadinejad should have been given the nod.
It's not an honor as such to be the man of the year. Or since Time went PC and now calls it person of the year. It's the biggest news maker, good or bad. Yes they did cop out in 2001 by not naming bin Laden. I think they thought too many people thought it would be an honor to name bin Laden that year.
I don't have a problem with people talking about our shortcomings but Buchanan sounds like he's happy to see us struggle. He's no better than a whining liberal who contributes nothing of any value.
"Why do a billion Muslims prefer Ahmadinejad to America? That is the question that needs to be addressed."
Why did a billion Muslims prefer the Ayatollah to America? Because they are friggin nuts!
The demarcation line between Buchanan and David Duke is often very thin indeed. But we should never underestimate the susceptibility of many to their bile.
I don't think anyone can argue with a straight face that the gist of this article is incorrect. Certainly no one can think of one person that has influenced the news for good or bad more than Ahmadinejad this year.
The internet user? Come on.
