Some political observers say Sen. John Kerrys presidential dreams were dashed months ago and his trip to terrorist-supporting Syria this week wont do anything to change that.
Before Kerrys so-called botched joke, taken by many as an insult to American troops, he was a second-tier presidential contender, but the aftermath has knocked him out of the race for good, said Todd Domke, a Massachusetts GOP political strategist.
I dont think people take him seriously enough to be upset about it, Domke said.
It doesnt really trigger more indignation because most people in the political world no longer consider him a serious player. No one really cares what he does.
Larry J. Sabato, a University of Virginia political science professor who runs the schools Center for Politics, said Kerry is no longer a contender.
It doesnt matter, he said. He joked himself out of the contest. He can meet with every dictator in the world and it wont make any difference.

No More goofy Photo Ops for John Kerry!

I have about as much chance of being elected President as John F'ing Kerry does. Heck I have about as much of a chance of winning the Democratic nomination.

Ouch.
Even a laughingstock gets to think about all the attention.
You don't rate even that, JFK.

"Spread out so he can't get by us".
I work with several and all to the person had to hold their nose to vote for him last time.
All to the person would not vote for him again. He is poser and loser.
I don't either.
Trip doesnt matter: Kerry still wont be serious contender
Too bad.
