"The men's was an example of spic and span polish compared to the women's."
I lived in an older dormitory when I was in college, with a large bathroom at either end of the hall instead of ensuite, and so whenever we had a party, we ended up guarding the door to the men's room for the girls, who didn't want to walk all the way down to the lobby. That was when I discovered that most women are afraid to actually sit on a public toilet, so they "hover" over it, and there's quite a bit of overspray, because we had to clean it up afterwards. And they don't put the seat up either. Of course, alcohol could've had something to do with it, lol.
I got in trouble at work once when I posted a sign in the Ladies' Room that said, "If you're going to stand up to pee, put the seat up like a man!"
