Katie,
as you well know, and as your recent ratings have demonstrated your abilities to get and hold an adult audience in hard news are marginal at best. It's not like the Toady show where you give little snippets of opinion sprinkled with a little news between baking cupcakes.
Your skill set is clearly better utilized under the desk, instead of in front of it.

Hey Katie, I'm rooting for you to stay with CBS just as long as you possibly can. Your bosses deserve to be dragged down even more than you do. In time, Al Jazera will be able to buy your network for pennies on the dollar. Maybe they already have.
