I can almost pity Teddy. He had the task of living up to the Kennedy "legacy" and knew he could not. That night at Chappaquidick ought to have ended his career, taken him off the hook. But people wouldn't let him. He was like Bonnie Prince Charlie, another unwilling and incapable heir. Whatever. The Kennedy dynasty ended in 1980 and he and his pathetic sons and nephews live out their days, as the family goes to seed.
Peanuts was the last one to fool me also. I was 23.
"It looks like a big suburban swimming pool!"
Did you see where Hillary propsed a return to the national 55 speed limit ?
Thank you.

GWB's bold take-down of Saddam Hussein (if we dont wimp out) will prove to be the BEST decision.
Because when the day comes where we have to take down Iran, we will already have signifigant firepower on the eastern flank.
Besides, if we had done NOTHING post 9/11, every single radical mullah-state would have joined Saddam Hussein in powering up for war against the US.
As it is NOW, all we really have to deal with is Iran. (Syria is insignifigant, as are other arab militaries.)
I hope she proposes it in public. That should send her Presidential prospects right down the toilet. :-)

HILL DRIVE FOR '55' ( National Maximum Speed Limit )
- In a surprise move yesterday, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton called for "most of the country" to return to a speed limit of 55 mph in an effort to slash fuel consumption...
"The 55-mile speed limit really does lower gas usage.
And wherever it can be required, and the people will accept it, we ought to do it," Clinton said at the National Press Club.
