SEOUL, South Korea - North Korea demanded Monday that all U.N. sanctions and U.S. financial restrictions be lifted before it dismantles its nuclear weapons program. The U.S. said it would normalize relations with the North if it scraps the program.

The North repeated its demand that it receive a nuclear reactor to be used for generating energy before it abandons its weapons program. It also wants energy supplies until the new facility is built, according to a summary of opening speeches released by one of the delegations involved.
If those demands aren't met, North Korea said it will continue with its weapons program.

Screw North Korea. Let them keep starving.
Maybe someday they will see the light. If you are
gonna be a Communist you have got to expect a lot
of starvation and a few super rich pervert leaders.
maybe Annon will give them a pardon on his way out the door
North Korea did not say, however, that it would NOT continue with its weapons program even if all demands were met..
No one can seriously expect N K to keep any promise it makes...
ping..
Well N.Korea is in a power position.
Give us what we demand or we'll starve ourselves.
OH NO MR. BILL
loonie bird running the asylum there.
I have never understood why communism REQUIRES a ruthless dictator and starvation and oppression of its people.
Let Democrats pay for the package. If they want their "peace and harmony" so much, I am sure they are willing to shell out the bucks.
You, I and others here on FR know full well that paying tribute to North Korea will never result in peace and harmony..
Oh ho ho hooo... they'll pay for it alright. But it'll be with our money, not theirs!!!
