[Rape isn't about sex, it's about anger and rage.]
[[I thought rape was about power not sex?]]
The idea that rape is not about sex, but about power or anger is a myth, sort of like saying that robbing a convenience store isn't about stealing money. Rape is only about one thing: A man full of natural sexual lust decides that he doesn't want to be constrained by the laws of civilized society or even by common decency and would prefer to live like an animal commits a rape. It has nothing to do with the woman, he's just selfishly satisfying his sexual desires without regard to whom he hurts in the process.
It's a mistake to let the modern feminist movement attempt to needlessly complicate the simple (and correct) explanation for the existence of rape with a whole lot of bunk psychobabble.

How would you explain instances of rape where the victim is an elderly woman, decades too old to evoke any kind of sexual reaction in a young man?
How would you explain the excessive violence which often accompanies rape? If the act merely represents the satisfaction of sexual urges, why would violence beyond simple restraint be necessary?
