Bush administration on Monday will propose sweeping changes in Medicaid... Developing...
yeah,
that'll work.
more pointless pandering and distraction.
Damn, it was only a dream.
Medicaid--that's the one for welfare people. They were complaining in my state last year that they could only get twelve visits a year to their doctors. With FREE transportation and FREE prescriptions.
My heart bleeds for them.
Medicaid's a quagmire. Pull out.
What a loser Bush has been.
It's also a bonanza for dishonest doctors, medical equipment suppliers, druggists, therapists, etc. of every stripe. They charge up billions in false claims every year.
Now with the democrats in charge "they" got there wish for staying home, elections do have consequences
I'll wait to see what happens tomorrow before I make tat judgment.
But he certainly hasn't cut runaway government spending by one red cent. Passing on the huge debt to future generations. That's NOT conservative.
No optimism? Look at how the administration fixed Medicare... < /sarcasm >
You don't even know what he's going to say.
People who can't pay for medical care should just die.
There are 50 million people on Medicaid. The states are having a hard time funding their share.
Because we all know that only government is capable of providing healthcare to those who can't afford it. Right?
Get the gubmint out of healthcare, cut & simplify the tax code, and people would afford healthcare on their own.
You can wait for tomorrow if you want, but the pattern's already there. "Compassionate" conservatism is a losing strategy, an attempt to preempt the Democrats heavier brand of socialism with a lighter brand today. It'll just provide a platform for expansion by the Democrats once they have all the marbles again. Hope I'm wrong. I'll glady eat crow tomorrow.
So is Medicare.
My friend's mother in law is in hospice. They took her brand new very expensive wheel chair away and gave her a crappy used one, saying that all equipment used had to be provided by them.
Wonder how much they billed medicare and wonder what they will do with the new chair they took.
