The headline in the Indianapolis paper today says "Bayh bows out, but for how long?" The article accompanying it is a hilarious whine about how he would have been a really good candidate and how so many people are disappointed.
Most of the disappointment, I think, is from Hoosier reporters who had dreams of being the next Ron Fournier and following Bayh to the White House. HA!

Poor Bayh! But for his presidential aspirations, he could have saved his reasonable stature instead of pandering to the left & irresponsible votings of late on every issue.
