I absolutely agree. Ultimately, it is a war of ideas. One of the problems, however, is that what we export to the world from a cultural perspective is often not very convincing. If TV and movies were where you formed your opinions about American society, you would come away absolutely thinking that we have no moral core. It's not true, but it's what we project. Combine that with the criticism of America that our own celebrities freely state abroad, and you have a big problem in the war of ideas. At least half the world thinks we have an idiot war monger as a president, and that is directly influenced by what the left in our country has been trumpeting and the complicit media repeating.

VERY well stated! Also what may fatally handicap the West in the war of ideas is "politically correct" moral and cultural relativisim, especially as taught in universities, leaving Westerners unable to persuasively articulate WHY our Western culture is preferable to Islamic culture, or just to be able to argue why Western civilization is even WORTH defending!

Confronting the false religion of Islam is secondary to confronting the false religion of humanism. There is One God, not a shopping cart full of demiurges. We must overcome the dominance of relativism in our own house. In this Christians stand together with Muslim fanatics. Both agree that cultural depravity is the true enemy.
Judaism and Christianity must demand that society end its love affair with immorality. Until we are strong enough to confront our own demons we will not have the character or the strength to confront Islam.
