You hit on the point EXACTLY!! Pretty Boy Colloney never does anything without cameras on him...and his ideas that America should be the nanny of the world is beyond the pale. It is discusting that the Hollywood types use their movie fame for anything, much less trying to stop and solve the problems some country in Africa!

Calling Obama handsome is a real stretch. To me he is the ultimate abuser and exploiter of affirmative action.

Has Clooney mentioned how many troops he thinks the U.S. needs to send to Darfur yet, and how long he thinks they should stay?

Actually, that was an earlier Sudanese civil war. The current one is a Muslim-on-Muslim conflict which makes the parallel with Iraq so striking.

Liberals are in favor of intervention - as long as America's adversaries are for it.

Clooney has never served in the military. Wouldn’t advocating military intervention make him a “chicken hawk” ?

Unfortunately, both sides have a double standard. The truth is that Iraq and Darfur equally qualfy as quagmires.

Where the H-E-Double-Toothpicks were these people when Sudanese Christians
and animists were being murdered in the south by the Sudanese
guvmint (Muslims/Arabs)?

I feel sorry for the suffering innocents in Darfur.
But seeing how we and the British (and Poles and others) are
busy around the world...
all we should do is simply say:

"Look at Darfur. That's what the world will look like when the
whole world looks like when Islam/Shari'a rules the planet.
First-class Muslims robbing, raping, exploiting, murdering and
ethnically-cleansing of Second-Class Muslims."
