If you are going to give in state tuition rates to illegals, then you should give them to everyone, no matter what state they are from.

Why should a student from Maryland ,going to school in Atlanta pay a higher tuition rate than an illegal from Guatamala? That doesnt even make sense.

That is what makes me so mad. I pay out of state tuition here in Texas, although my hubby works as a teacher for one of the school districts outside of Dallas. I think it is so unfair that illegals can get in state tuiton, but I am a US born citizen and can't get the same treatment. The problem is illegals get better treatment than US born citizens.

You clearly don't understand white guilt. You should be sentenced to spend another four years in a public school taking special classes for slow learners.

Ding, ding ding! We have a winner!

It is also worth noting that in Georgia, once a student is branded 'out-of-state', that status never changes even if that student spends the next four years living, working, and paying taxes in Georgia.

Because the illegals "like boiled peanuts. They like southern rock. They like the Braves."

Exactly. These state laws violate the 14th Amendment which is predicated on equal treatment. States cannot treat citizens differently on the basis of where they live from foreigners if they grant foreigners special treatment Americans don't get. And that's simply wrong.
