nothing about the Kennedy's is amusing. Actually, some of it is sadly humorous....
how the potential of greatness was swallowed by pampant alcoholism, womanising and other excesses not allowed to listed here.
They were funded by Joseph Kennedy's bootlegging operation and other collusions with the Mob and he intended to set an example........
The example was exactly what wiped out his clan, oberindulgence and an over-inflated sense of self.
Don't forget how many people were killed and crippled along the way, that were not Kennedys??

And .. don't forget that it was Joseph Kennedy who was so enamored with Hitler that FDR had to recall him back to America.
I have absolutely no respect for any of the Kennedys.

Joe Kennedy was an Ambassador wasn't he?
I think it was the so-called "Court of Saint Jmaes" in England and his admiration of our enemy was the impetus for the recall.

Sorry .. nothing about the Kennedy's is amusing. Ordinarily, I agree, but I consider this an exception.

Now, that's funny...and accurate!
At this time of year, I enjoy listening to the Bob Rivers classic "Teddy the Red Nosed Senator"

Someone really ought to erect a statue to Mary Jo on the Mall for keeping this reprobate out of the White House. She really DID give her life for her country.

The joke around Boston whose residents keep sending this moron back to Washington (probably to keep THEIR daughters safe) -- used to be that Teddy was down to his last brain cell. Looks like even THAT one finally gave up the ghost.

How about "Ode to Mary Jo" , to the tune of "Ode to Billy Joe" "Was the nineteenth of July, another sleepy, humid Cape Cod day... and He and Mary Jo Kopechne was throwing something off the Chappaquiddick Bridge."

No matter how many times I see that PIC of Mary Joe and the Oldsmobile, I am flabbergasted that he left her to suffocate for 12 hours before calling the cops. Just amazing that anyone could do that to another human being.

Kennedy is amusing pretending to walk by a glass of booze without drinking it in one gulp.

I am flabbergasted that he left her to suffocate for 12 hours before calling the cops. Actually, he never called the cops, the coppers, "greeted" him. He came back the next day on foot, and found the local sheriff and rescuers hauling the car out of the drink. The sheriff had already run the plates and knew it was his. Not knowing the senator's whereabouts he feared the worst. The sheriff was originally relieved to see him. Senator Kennedy "explained" that he had intended to report the accident.
Since most government officials in the Commonwealth were in awe of America's Royal Family in those days, the organs of state government went into serious cover up mode.
