We wrap up the Christmas By Song countdown this weekend! Christmas weekend (which is next weekend for all you slackers out there) we will load up our Christmas By Song from A-Z! Come join us while you are wrapping gifts or just chilling in the desert!
Happy Hanukkah to all of our Troops, Veterans, Allies, and friends around the world that are celebrating the *Festival Of Lights* beginning tonight. May God bless you and keep you safe!
Now onto some *business* in the Canteen:
First, music can be requested for our Troops either on the thread (laurenmarlowe may have to work this weekend...so? Ping MoJo2001, Kathy In Alaska, Randy Larsen, LUV W, or any other Canteen Deejay). You can also email us at musicrequests4u@gmail.com and please put *Music Requests* in the subject area. Thank you!
Second, please support the artists you hear in the Canteen. You can do so by using the links provided at the top of the thread.
Third, in recent weeks there has been a few incidents that have involved some unfriendly exchanges between Canteen Deejays and others. Please keep in mind that any of the Canteen Deejays has the right to refuse to play your request. This isn't entitlement city folks. We are here to entertain our Troops, Veterans, Allies, and their family members. They are first and foremost.
Fourth, we like to joke in the Canteen and act silly. If you are overly sensitive, then the Canteen isn't the place for you. Honestly, if you don't understand the words *lighten up*, then you're at the wrong place. We try to be mindful that children are lurking as well.
Fifth, if you are interested in joining our ranks please contact one of the Canteen Deejays for information on how to become a Canteen Deejay. It is easier than you think.
Sixth, if you'd like to be added or removed from the Canteen Music Ping List, please contact Kathy In Alaska or MoJo2001. We have no problems removing you. HOWEVER, if you want to be added...please note that you could be pinged at least 500 times during the weekend. Think long and hard before adding your name to the Canteen Music ping list.
Seventh, DO NOT HOTLINK or use the thread without permission.
