Why is it that 'moderate' dems like Nelson always seem to pull this stuff a month AFTER they get re-elected? They count on voting public having a short memory.
He's a democrat. That means his standards are adjustable.
Remember the democrats who screamed about some kind of conspiracy to keep the hostages to help Reagan get elected? Now we find that Fat Teddy K was the one working against Carter with the KGB but there isn't a peep out of the democrats about it.
They were elected or re elected. That was their goal. They said what they thought the people would believe.
If any of the fools that voted for them, voted for them because they campaiganed on being for lower taxes, for private ownership of firearms,or for National security they deserve what they get.
The rest of us are stuck with them.
By the way, just as there is no such thing as a moderate muslim, there is no such thing as a moderate democrat.
