NDIANAPOLIS - The Marion County Health Department says more than 160 people have claimed they became ill after eating at an Olive Garden restaurant in Indianapolis last weekend.
A health department spokesman says they're trying to isolate the cause and have found no health code violations at the restaurant on the city's north side.

Just thinking about eating at an Olive Garden in NY makes me sick.

OK... this has been happening so much lately that I think it's time we start asking some questions and checking to see if any of the companies' affected by this phenomenon have employees named "Mohamed".

A health department spokesman says they're trying to isolate the cause . . . . I suspect it was the imitation Italian food.

Why does that story about all those people boarding a transit bus after it crashed come to mind?

Do you think it might be because hospitals/emergency rooms have improved reporting? Just a thought.

That, plus the "shark attack" factor.

It's all that nasty white-flour pasta crap that Americans just can't seem to get enough of. I always thought their food was way overpriced since 90% of most of their dishes is just wheat flour with a minimum of protein concealed in a gravy, they call sauce. I'll take good Mexican, Thai, Indian, or Chinese food anyday.

160 people isn't a small number. I don't know about "improved reporting", a similar mass e. coli breakout just happened in my local area, and "they" wouldn't even report the name of the restaurant. I can only imagine that overall restaurant business in town declined pretty badly.
To: Kenton
LOL! I was thinking the same thing, but the name is Juan. The e-coli outbreaks started after the illegal alien demonstrations began in April/May. Just an observation....

Hmmm...most curious. First Taco Bell, then Taco Johns, now Olive Garden. All in various parts of the country.

Do you think it might be because hospitals/emergency rooms have improved reporting? Just a thought. Nope. Too many coincidences, what with the e-coli outbreak at Taco Bell all over the country. And I'm always a skeptic about coincidences.
Here's hoping that I may I be wrong.
