people moving out of California outnumbered those moving in
dreadful, ain't it?

Actually, it "is" dreadful. I much prefer that Californians stay in California. These people never learn. They leave California, the upper east coast, etc, because of high taxes and lack of opportunity. Then, they relocate to states such as Colorado and Texas and the first thing they want to do is re-make these states into the image of the state they just left. Go figure....

Moved out of Burbank in 1999; Started feeling home sick around 2002 when we returned for a visit! Immediately remembered why we left, we couldn't turn around fast enough! One reason was the feeling of being invaded.

let's spread some more of those illegal aliens around the other 49 states then.

yes, it IS dreadful .. they're moving to and changing the demographics in OR/WA/AZ/NV, etc. Let them all stay in one place and enjoy Barbara Boxer and Diane Feinstein, instead of spreading the wealth to other states.

Could it be the liberal policies, taxes, real estate costs, illegals, or traffic?
Not knocking CA necessarily, Reagan was after all from there, but the state does have a LOT of problems from what I see from my Midwest perspective.
