I said that if you require a single political state to rule over Ethiopia in order to validate its 2000 year history, you cannot expect reasonable people to believe you when you talk about Western Civilization as a valid historical unit either, since the notoriously fractuous region (and religion) of Europe hasn't seen political unity since the Roman Empire.
