I applied no standard to Ethiopia. I pointed out that YOUR attempt to discredit the history of the West by bringing in a false impression of the continuity of nationhood of a non-Western state was absurd, but typical.

It's based on our few previous encounters on this subject on this forum. It's true even if you don't realize that you are being used towards that end.
