Throughout Texas' history, water has been more precious than oil or mineral wealth. I don't want to see a bunch of Globalist make the situation worse.

When water is priced below marginal cost, there is a shortage. Subsidizing the use of natural resources causes waste of those resources. If people want to plant lawns and gardens better suited to the wetter climate of Florida, they should pay the full costs of doing so. In south Texas we still have developers building houses with new lawns of St. Augustine grass which is a known water hog.
