yadda, yadda, yadda. We know all about the religious left, about how "blessed are the peacemakers" and how Jesus taught us that we should care for the poor.
Did Jesus teach us that we need open ended welfare programs, Section 8 housing, food stamps, etc. all run by a giant federal bureaucracy? Would Jesus be content if private faith based charities were in the mix? Or would Jesus defer to the ACLU regarding whether faith based charities were legitimate?
