My understanding is the most she can get out of a falsified police report is a misdemeanor with 4 mos. to a year of jail time. Chances are she would serve about a third of whatever time she would get. There may be a punitive monetary award, as well (good luck on getting that). If she would get on the stand and TESTIFY (i.e. commit perjury) then the jail time could go longer.
