What was the atmosphere among the courtroom audience? Was it easy to spot the FA supporters? Did they seem bitter and downtrodden? Did you pick up any clues as to who the FA's "handlers" might be--DA types or New Black Panther types?

Seating capacity was 56. It was SRO. I counted maybe another 18-24 standing including me. Large contingent of press. I saw Fox (Greta and Susan F.), ESPN, CBS, NBC, CourtTV, AP, N&O, H-S, etc. ID badges.
Mostly lax team supporters. Not so many Mangum supporters. Susan Filan was sitting right in the middle of the Mangum supporters as well. Judge said he had thought about kicking out the standers but as everyone was behaving he decided not to. RS, CF and DE were in and seated when I arrived. The gallery behind them was filled with parents and evident supporters. I witnessed no overt acts of hostility. When I left the pressies were gathered outside the courtroom door waiting on the lawyers and players. There were apparent about 10 male lax players and about 4 women associated (female lax players?). One of the males was attacked by the press and I listened to his interview but didn't have time to stay longer.
