Seems to me that they are required to publish the court calendar as part of the public record. Or does Durham have secret trials on top of everything else?

Yep..this case has changed our minds about our daughter considering Duke for college because they offer the particular major she wants. She's not rich, but her white skin would be enough to get her hurt or in trouble in a place like that.

Heck, I can't imagine a non-racist of any color sending their children there after all this.

If he doctored the reports in this case it just might lead to a stampede of lawyers of other wronged parties.

Several years ago a local sheriffs deputy altered drug evidence to get a conviction. Got caught,convicted and sent to prison himself. Every case that he was involved with was thrown out by a Judge which meant a lot of people got let loose.

In looking at all the other criminal cases they start at 0900 in Courtroom 1 with Nifong listed as prosecutor. So I'm going to assume they follow that pattern.

I had heard way back last Spring I think on O'reilly that you cannot go after a prosecutor in NC for financial damages. I hope that they are wrong. These families deserve to get rich over this.

I was under the impression that SBI didn't have the expertise to do the type of testing that DNA Security does. The defense has asked for the details of the SBI testing as well, so I guess we'll find out about that, too!

I guess it turns out the State lab was right and Nifong went "lab" shopping!
