Is her salary contract guaranteed? Or do they only have to pay her for the calendar year in which she is terminated?
I think she's working for free- charity volunteer work ... j/k- not sure- but most likely she has some kind of guaruntee that pays her no matter what happens- perhaps even if she gets canned- nkew a proffessor who took a contract that paid him a certain salary for 5 years, even if he got canned- she probably has something like that.
Some have speculated that CBS really hired Katie to drive down the Today show ratings. Who knows, but she's a disaster doing the evening news.
