Why "Oh dear"? Look at it positively. Their gross ignorance [may Allah increase it!] is what keeps them from meddling effectively, and thus from gunking up the works. Ignorant and incompetent malicious idiot, while unpleasant [granted], is still infinitely preferable to a competent and knowledgeable malicious idiot.
