B b b but Antarctic ice is building! I'm so confused.

The climate at each pole does operate differently. As an example, though there is a bit of reduction of ozone in the stratosphere over the Arctic in winter and early spring, there is on giant ozone-eating hole. In fact, cooler temperatures over the central Antarctic are partly attributed to the loss of stratospheric ozone over it during the winter.

Atmospheric Ozone is created by the reaction to Sunlight in our Troposphere.

The main reason that the hole appears during the winter, is the direct rays of the sun are blocked, causing a reduction of Ozone, Temperatures are not the main cause. The temperatures in the Troposphere are from -30 to -120 deg.F. the year around and they vary according to the Coriolis Force.

So, we don't need to wait a decade, Inhofe is correct, global warming is a misnomer.

And since Greenlands ice sheet is expanding we can rename the Arctic - Greenland 2 and send some sheep there for awhile. Perhpas we can even get the progeny of the sheep that used to graze in Greenland a thousand years ago

Precisely why Al Gore and I are calling for the total shutdown of volcanic activity in this crucial region and elswhere. Mount Erebus simply must be plugged, or we will all freeze to death in our beds. Ditto those pollutant-oozing Italian eyesores, Vesuvius and Aetna. Mt. Pinatubo and Haleakala are in the same category. Is the almighty tourist dollar more important than ending volcanic pollution?

It makes me very angry when partisans of the VRWC show their callous unconcern with the health and safety of women, children, and federally recognized minority groups.

What is it with you people?
