Seattle IS gay-friendly, but I live here (actually just north of, in Shoreline), and I've NEVER seen male-on-male open-mouth kissing in public, and not a lot of female kissing, either. Of course, I am rarely on Capitol Hill (main gay area), and don't attend the annual Gay Pride Parade.

Well, I beg to differ with you. I stayed near Capitol Hill and it was there all the time. Also saw it at Lake Washington.
