With all the scandals, the Administration's inability to decisively win the war and the GOP's hog-wild government spending and earmarks, it made life difficult for conservatives. The party's abandonment of principle couldn't save them from the voters' wrath. Things changed and now the Democrats get saddled with the budget and everything else. They've complained for years and now voters have given them the chance to show they can fix the country's problems.
