When Slick was tapping Di's phone, do you think Hillary knew about it, or is she currently smacking him with her riding crop??

Part of the problem...a big part...is that there are too many RINOS that feel the same as the dems. Any GOP Senators that agree with what Pres. Bush is doing re: the NSA progam...are outnumbered.
One of the main Senators against the NSA was Arlen Specter...and he was the GOP Chairman of the Judiciary Committee...

Having missed Drudge last night, maybe you can enlighten me.
Was Princess Di conversing with terrorists, or did she talk with someone here in the USA?
As far as the surveillance laws then in effect are concerned, there is likely to be a distinction.
Whether Klintoon personally authorized it is beside the point. Rather, was there a national security issue involved?

Forstmann is a conservative Republican. Around the time of the wiretaps, he was on the board of the American Spectator. He would qualify as a member of Hillary's "vast right wing conspiracy."

In my script to this saga, the trail leads them right to the Clintons.
Already the NSA has denied listening in.
A rogue wiretap under guise of EXTREME NATIONAL SECURITY.

"Democrats are going to have to explain why it was OK to monitor Princess Di..."
That's an easy one: Once upon a time, Princess Di enamored the world. At the time of her death there was another female--the wife of the then current American president--who felt she deserved to be similarly enamored by the world. However, to rise to such a level required her to find out Princess Di's enamoring secrets. Thus she utilized people, whom no one knew who they had been hired by, to find out those secrets. She did learn those secrets--through spying on Princess Di--and now she is working on making herself equally enamoring of the world!
