Christian teens active in elections

Now that the dust has started to settle on the political power shift in Washington, it is a good time to take a look behind the scenes and see what happened in the country. Specifically, what can we deduce about the involvement of Christian teens in the political process? Because of the change in party control on Capitol Hill and the consequent speculation about the direction of the future Congress, commentators may have overlooked the efforts of these teens in the 2006 midterms.

"The Generation Joshua program has been growing rapidly, and the number of teens involved in 2006 mirrored the number in the presidential year. We expect more teens to be available in the next election cycle. It remains to be seen how effective these teens will be in 2008, but they are a growing force in getting people to vote through their voter registration efforts. "

Sounds like an organization that is badly needed in America.....I sincerely wish them well and hope their effort does not lapse into evangelism...
