Hanukkah, is the celebration of a victory, in a war...in other words it is the celebration of the defeat, of a enemy
And Jesus Christ is the Celebration of defeat of a enemy named *Death*
There are some very distinct similarities.
My input to the topic, questions the common acceptance that Hanukkah, is to be celebrated, on a par with the birth of a baby...and for sure it isn't...and for my money Hanukkah is an affront to birth of a baby, a Savior...in other words...how can the death of an enemy, be celebrated on a par with the beginning of life, as symbolized by the birth of a baby...regardless of the future of that baby
