The impeachment vote demonstrated the gutlessness of wa-a-a-a-a-ay too many Pubbies. GWB's compassionate conservatism closed the door for good when they brokered the deal to let X42 walk. Men and women of principle are needed desperately. The Punch and Judy tactics of the past have worn thin for too many conservatives and value voters.
